Creature Feature

I did this doodle while I was substituting a class, I colored it with shop later. Monsters are fun to draw, and this one looks like my girl friend's dog, sort of.

I could not resist leaving the pencil marks visible. In my opinion the pencil marks bring warmth to the work, otherwise it becomes too sterile with just the photoshopped color.

I did this illustration using pen and India ink, then I scanned it into photoshop and colored it.

These are a few of the newspaper illustrations I have had published.  They all accompanied an article, most are meant to be humous.  Working for my college newspaper: CSULB Union Weekly, gave me invaluable experience.
